“A boy and a girl sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G! First comes love, then comes marriage. Then comes a baby in the baby carriage!” A year ago these new parents graciously included me in an hour of sweet joy as they prepared for parenthood. Now as they prepared for their baby’s 1st birthday, I know they have been filled with love for that little girl to the moon and back since day one!
This lovable snuggle bug was surrounded by his big sister, mommy and daddy on this cold winter day last year! We had such joy photographing him for his first session. He already had stolen mommy and daddy hearts completely in just a short time since being born. Happy 1st birthday to this handsome little fellow! 
Growing families are a joy to capture because not only do you have beautiful parents to photograph in their patient moments but there’s a new role to be played by the big brother or big sister to be! What excitement they express!
These two boys are full of life and energy! We enjoyed exploring Fernridge Park in West Hartford, CT with them and their parents. Such cute little fellas!
She slept, she got changed, she was hugged and kissed from head to toe…all in the name of photography! Such a good little trooper and we successfully did not pee or spit up on the baby blanket! Over all, a good first session, and we look forward to capturing her 3 month portraits very soon.
We are so excited to meet our newest Defy family member. Our very own Samantha is due today and before baby girl arrives we wanted to share our fun maternity photo shoot from this January. Mommy braved the brisk cold day and glowed with pride as she showed off her beautiful baby belly! I may have gone over board with the pictures but I just have too many favorites to choose!
Before little one arrives, we thought we’d share the final family portraits as a family of three. This big sister to be was a bundle of energy running through Bushnell Park in Hartford, CT. She will make a great teacher of running and jumping and smiling for the camera! We look forward to meeting and photographing the new addition in just a few weeks!
On our snow day here in Connecticut we are reminded of our amazing clients who joined us for a very blustery session this past fall. While it wasn’t snowing, it was still chilly that day. But even though it was windy, we caught lots of smiles and the snuggles helped make this an extra special session!
This little guy was celebrating a big milestone, his first birthday! He sported his bow tie with class and gave kissy fish faces to the camera to show his love. We included mommy and daddy for some fun casual shots as well as his two cousins for some fun. This sweet boy has a soft personality and he was a joy to work with.
This little cutie showed us lots of snuggles for bother mommy and her new baby brother as well as her independent side as we explored Elizabeth Park this past summer. Baby brother was a real champ as well, going from napping to being awake and passed around for everyone to love on. These two kiddos will have a great time keeping mom and dad on their toes for the next 18 years as they all grow in family love!
