Pumpkin carving, leaves changing color on the trees can only mean one thing – Halloween! With corn mazes and ghosts galore we do love this fun holiday. We hope you had a wonderful day of spooky costumes, pumpkins and lots of candy!
We definitely appreciate that our client base in Georgia is growing, and we loved working with this fun couple! The bride’s family is Persian, and the groom’s family is Jewish. It was nice seeing the two cultures blend so seamlessly to make their wedding the best it could be. The Persian side could be seen in the large sofreh at the altar, and also in the honey ceremony. There was a beautiful Jewish chuppah, and of course the groom stomped on the glass at the end of the ceremony. The two wed at the Roswell River Landing with the beautiful Chattahoochee River in the background. There were some comical moments when people floating down the river passed by with their music blaring, but the bride and groom laughed it off. It was a day full of love and laughs.
We got these pictures done just in time! At 39 weeks our mommy-to-be walked around the apartment complex and we found some fun spots for some great pictures. We were able to include some props like adorable baby shoes, an adorable dragon, and a personalized “Jellybean” onesie. The dad was able to break away from work for a few minutes to join us for some pictures. He is quite the character! This little one is going to have some fun parents.
We love babies! Maybe more so now because one of the owners of Defy is about to be a mommy… In any case, we jumped at the opportunity to photograph this sweet one in St. Louis. She was such a sweetheart and did a great job during our shoot. My favorite part was when she got fussy, her loving parents sang a hymn to help calm her down. It made for a sweet photo op. Congratulations to these new parents on their bundle of joy!

With the new school year starting, all the seniors are frantically looking through their pictures to find that special one to put in the yearbook. We enjoyed going to the Marietta Square (a popular place!) for some senior portraits. This 2014 graduate made the trip up to Marietta from Peachtree City so she could have unique pictures that stood out from her friends’. It was fun to see her different personalities come out with her outfit changes, and her mom was there making sure she looked picture perfect. She’s such a beautiful model, it was hard to select just a few pictures to post!
This wonderful couple found us through our list and shows with Perfect Wedding Guide. They had a wonderful destination wedding here in the North Atlanta. We started with a full rehearsal dinner for all their guests and then a beautiful catholic ceremony and a gorgeous reception at John’s Creek Golf Course. The rain let up just enough for us to get some photos outside before the sunset. This bride liked the chandeliers at her reception so we had fun capturing some special moments beneath the twinkling lights!

Family photos are one of our favorite things to photograph. We love meeting new families and watching them laugh and play together. This fun family included their German Shepherd in last years holiday portrait session. They picked a local college campus with lots of greenery for a soft background and we had a great time walking around a fountain taking photos and laughing with their little guy! The dog was so well behaved and add the perfect personal touch for this wonderful family.
While one of our owners celebrates her fifth wedding anniversary the other celebrates her first anniversary! A year ago we all gathered in Connecticut to celebrate love and laughter! With the wonderful support of one photographer to another, we had great fun dancing, singing, and cake smashing. What a wonderful wedding! Here’s to many more years of love for the newly weds!
