Baby girl in pink, mommy in pearls and daddy in plaid! This family of three braved a windy day this spring to capture some smiles and cuddle hugs. We look forward to joining her this fall in celebration of her first birthday!
This little guy is starting preschool this fall! We first met him when he was just a few weeks old and it’s hard to believe he’s already starting this new adventure. He is quite the cutie and we know he will make many great friends this school year. Good luck to his mom cause we are sure he will steal many hearts with that handsome smile!
What would be better than getting to attend a 1st birthday for work?! Capturing this cutie was just too much fun. At first the many faces was a little much and a few tears were shed but soon she was rocking and rolling! With a lady bug theme and great joy with her smash cake, this little one’s first birthday was a party we’ll never forget!
This winter we captured this happy couple in the glistening snow for their engagement photos! After waiting out the snow storms this winter, and there was quite a few of them, we picked a beautiful day to go stomping through the snow in upstate New York. This couple loves the country style and we were able to include that in this session. We are excited to be joining them again tomorrow as they come together with family and friends for their special day! Happy wedding day to the bride and groom!
The major milestones in life that we often think of first include births, graduations and marriages. However, there are little ones that happen in between that are milestones too. This little one joined us at her tenth month for a mini session in the park, and she had many skills to show us. From smiling, to sitting up, to crawling; I loved seeing these proud parents enjoy every moment with her. So today I remind you all, don’t forget to celebrate the little steps in life! Each one a milestone of its own.
We certainly do love celebrating with these students as they embark on their final year in high school! This senior to be and her family met me at Elizabeth Park in West Hartford and I captured her gentle character through out the park. I included a family portrait at the end of session to show it’s not just the senior whose celebrating this great milestone!
Schools are really stepping it up these days. I remember that my brother and I had to get our senior portraits taken during our senior year. I’m finding more and more nowadays that schools want the pictures submitted by the end of the students’ junior year!
I love shooting senior portraits because you really get to learn a lot about the subject’s personality in such a short time. This cutie met me in the Marietta Square a few weeks ago. She even brought her old headband she wore in her first ever school picture and put it on for a few pictures. Her mom joined us on the shoot, and you could see how proud she was of her little girl.

We had a great time at Wolcott Park with this little toddler! He had no problem smiling for the camera and keeping us entertained the entire session. He was very eager to show off his soccer skills and his favorite friends Bert and Ernie. I look forward to photographing this little guy again and again!
This past winter we had to make the difficult decision to divide the company between Georgia and Connecticut. While there were tears shed for this move, we knew in our hearts new clients would be found for half our company going to New England. Here’s to the best first session in Connecticut! This family was full of life and smiles, and the girls showed us all around this wonderful park! We are so grateful for the continuous work in Georgia and the new found work in Connecticut.
