To ring in the new year this family gathered for smiles on their front steps to show their new home AND their newest family member to be! This adorable little guy was very excited to share his big news: he was going to get a baby sister! I scheduled this family’s photo session thinking we were just getting the annual shot for the holiday card. Boy, was I wrong! Out of the car hopped the brothers with t-shirts with writing on them. Before the parents even got to me, I’d read the news! So excited for this growing family and what fun to capture their announcement photo.

In our line of work, it is very possible to get hired to photograph a wedding, and then due to moves and other life events, not hear from that couple again. Well, many years after her older sister was married, this kind sweet bride sought us out and hired us to join her family once more for another memorable day! Their wedding location was the unique Alton Post Commons in Illinois. It was an honor to work with the brides side again and a privilege to meet a new brother in law, the groom, and his family and friends. We wish them many years of happiness and hope to see them again one day!

Family portraits are important but take them while visiting the grandparents and they can be made extra special! Captured in the summer time, we found a fun local park to chase around this adorable toddler, her parents and her grandparents. What a little cutie pie!
This lovable snuggle bug was surrounded by his big sister, mommy and daddy on this cold winter day last year! We had such joy photographing him for his first session. He already had stolen mommy and daddy hearts completely in just a short time since being born. Happy 1st birthday to this handsome little fellow! 
These two boys are full of life and energy! We enjoyed exploring Fernridge Park in West Hartford, CT with them and their parents. Such cute little fellas!
This little cutie showed us lots of snuggles for bother mommy and her new baby brother as well as her independent side as we explored Elizabeth Park this past summer. Baby brother was a real champ as well, going from napping to being awake and passed around for everyone to love on. These two kiddos will have a great time keeping mom and dad on their toes for the next 18 years as they all grow in family love! 
More fun in Elizabeth Park this summer with this new family. This was little guys first photo shoot and he did very well! He was eager to tell us stories with lots of expression. His older sister was excited to show off her pink shoes and a pretty dress she had. They were both fabulous troopers and I see many a great photos in their futures!
