Mommy and me time

Such a fun photo session with this mother and daughter in Chesterfield Central Park. You can see their love for each other, as well as a hint of sass. This is a great time of year to wear red and get ready for Christmas photos. Believe it or not, it’s not too late!

1 one-year-old + 1 one-year-old = Twins!

I love a photoshoot with boy/girl twins! (Probably because I am one myself!) It was so fun to see the different personalities these two have. It’s hard to beat a photo session at home when you have really young kiddos. They are more at ease in an environment with which they are familiar, there’s no packing the car with all the things you’ll need, and you have access to more clothes in case of an emergency!

Thank you, veterans!

Our work ranges far beyond family portraits and weddings. We’ve had opportunities to shoot war reenactments, homecomings of those in service, and promotion ceremonies for those in the military. “Thank you” seems inadequate to convey the appreciation we have for all those who have served. We both come from families with long histories of military service. To those who served, no matter the capacity, thank you. To those who are still serving our country, thank you. To be willing to lay down your life for the country you love is humbling.

We’d love to work with you if you have a loved one coming home from a deployment, or getting a promotion!

Here are some shots from a Civil War reenactment Samantha was able to shoot while working for a magazine in Franklin, TN.

Sweet Backyard Wedding

We will travel for work! This sweet backyard wedding, in Seattle, had lots of sass and personality. As photographers, we like to get a variety of pictures from your big day, including some smaller details. So, in addition to group photos and candid photos from the ceremony, we will get those often overlooked details that make your day perfect!

Happy Special Day, Samantha!

Samantha has not been perusing photography as much as Meredith lately. That doesn’t mean she hasn’t been shooting away, though! Her family has been traveling a lot, so stay tuned for pictures from her travels. One thing she likes to capture is cool trees and their close up details. As you can tell, she’s a sucker for some Spanish moss and driftwood. Check out these beauties from south Georgia all the way to Wyoming!
