Energy is always high when there’s a toddler at a shoot. All they want to do is explore and run. That’s one of the great things about little kids – their curiosity. Fall is the perfect time to do these photos because the little ones love toddling about in the leaves.

The last time we took this family’s photos, the kids had their cousins jump in for a few shots. The fun continued this year with the same tradition. Drace Park was a great backdrop for this family reunion. Of course, we’ll always snap a few photos of just Mom and Dad, too.
A fun milestone to document that is often overlooked is a child’s first birthday. They’ve made it all the way around the sun – so celebrate! If they have siblings, you can also turn it into an impropmtu family session.
How special to celebrate one of our repeat client’s growing family! We spent some time together both inside their house, and in their yard. The spring blooms on the trees made for a magical setting.
