I love a photoshoot with boy/girl twins! (Probably because I am one myself!) It was so fun to see the different personalities these two have. It’s hard to beat a photo session at home when you have really young kiddos. They are more at ease in an environment with which they are familiar, there’s no packing the car with all the things you’ll need, and you have access to more clothes in case of an emergency!
This family greeted cooler temperatures in Concordia Park. The pay off? Those gorgeous fall colors! We love the idea of bringing along a blanket for photos on the ground. You can even cuddle the whole family under it, if it gets too cold!
This family was all smiles, as well as colorfully coordinated. What’s better – they included the international student they’re hosting in their photos. What better way to make sure they feel as though they’re part of the family! This crew even took it to the next level with a joyful jump!

What a wonderful new place we got to explore! This family introduced us to Chesterfield Central Park and it did not disappoint! Knowing a little bit of background for this family, we loved having a good variety of nature backgrounds for them. Here are a few of our favorite moments with them. This sweet family welcomed their newest member and it was all snuggles for their photo session. While outside was a chilly winter, it was all warm smiles and love in their cozy home. We even got to include the love of a third generation: grandparents!
This dear family had a special request to be part of their session. Every year they snap a photo of the next generation of cousins. So while the main reason was the family photo for the annual Christmas card, we were also honored with the special task of capturing this treasured annual cousin photo. The little one was a little fidgety but that didn’t stop us from capturing his joy! It was great fun working with this family and their extended family!
What is one of the best things about siblings? The built in friendships for life! These two little boys in blue were very sweet to watch throughout their session in Longview Farm Park in Ballwin, Missouri. We love getting to witness all the unique family dynamics with each of our clients.
