Happy almost New Year!! This family was a joy to shoot as they prepared to welcome a new baby to the family. It’s a sweet idea to let your children join in on your maternity shoot. We can even grab a few photos of just the kids, if you’d like!
As we draw a close to our holiday portrait season, we are reminded of our final session from 2020. These parents-to-be honored us to be apart of these special moments, and their fur baby was a wonderful addition! To think this little lady is almost a year old now. Don’t worry, a glimpse of those wonderful photos to come later.
This mama reached out to have her growing family captured one last time as a trio. This adorable little boy is going to make a wonderful big brother! With all the future snuggles and kisses to come, we are very excited for this beautiful family! And little one even has a future best friend already.
“A boy and a girl sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G! First comes love, then comes marriage. Then comes a baby in the baby carriage!” A year ago these new parents graciously included me in an hour of sweet joy as they prepared for parenthood. Now as they prepared for their baby’s 1st birthday, I know they have been filled with love for that little girl to the moon and back since day one!
Growing families are a joy to capture because not only do you have beautiful parents to photograph in their patient moments but there’s a new role to be played by the big brother or big sister to be! What excitement they express!
We got these pictures done just in time! At 39 weeks our mommy-to-be walked around the apartment complex and we found some fun spots for some great pictures. We were able to include some props like adorable baby shoes, an adorable dragon, and a personalized “Jellybean” onesie. The dad was able to break away from work for a few minutes to join us for some pictures. He is quite the character! This little one is going to have some fun parents.
What a joy to see the excitement in an expanding family! Even big brother was excited to tell us where his baby sister currently resides. We had so much fun with this maternity session and wish this family big blessings as they continue to nurture the newest edition.
