We had the great joy of meeting and photographing this little angel! She was such a good sport being passed around the family members and had many outfit changes. She’s a great little model in the making! With bows and rings and other special props, her first photo shoot was a success!
This family of three enjoyed an updated portrait for this past holiday season. With bright reds and blues to add to their smiles, we really enjoyed a morning at the local park. With all the running, swinging and playground exploring, this little princess was plum worn out by the end of our photo adventure!

I had to wonderful opportunity to photograph an extended family at their home. It was the first time they had a family portrait taken with the whole family in years. There was so much love and joy expressed between brothers, cousins, grandparents, and mothers. So, in honor of mother’s day, here’s a few of our favorites from this dynamic family.
We had the great privilege of photographing a dear friend for a publication. We had a casual outdoor session and were joined by her very friendly puppy! From forest background to rocking on the porch, we found many great photo locations around her home.
This curious little boy had quite the 1 year birthday! He helped with opening his presents, enjoyed a lion birthday cake and showed us his favorite toys during a private photo shoot. This is one happy and lovable little guy. We here at Defy would love to photograph him every day! Best wishes to mom and dad as they head into year 2!
Last year we photographed this baby boy just a month after he was born. Here are some of our favorites from that session. This year we were invited to attend his 1st birthday party and took some updated portraits of him and his family. We’ll be posting those soon! This past weekend was the anniversary of our company becoming an LLC! We’ve posted a lot of pictures through the years of your weddings and families, so we thought since it was our weekend, we could share some fun pictures of us! We went to a local creek to take pictures of each other with our significant others. We had a lot of fun climbing rocks, splashing in the water and hiking trails. It’s been fun to watch our business grow, and we are look forward to our continued growth both in the metro-Atlanta area and beyond. Thank you to all our family and friends who have supported us through the years. Your love and support mean the world to us.
We photographed some head shots for this little baby girl for the beginning of her career. She has so many faces for the camera! We also captured a few casual shots to update mom’s scrapbook. She’s a quick little doll as we followed her around the park!
This mom requested updated family portraits that would capture her families fun country personalities! We enjoyed using a local park with some country flare for our setting. The boys were great supports about doing this session in chilly weather and they entertained us with facts about Stephen Hawking as we traveled around the park!
Through out life, one of the most cherished moments is when a couple of 2 becomes a family of 3! This holiday season we give thanks to all those cherished moments we’ve been able to capture. From tiny fingers to tiny toes, this beautiful baby brings endless joy to her expanding family!
